Telangana Rakshana Sena chief K. Kavitha has sought some celestial guidance for her political journey. The buzz is she recently met Radhan Pandit Vetrivel, the astrologer closely associated with Tamil Nadu CM Vijay. Vetrivel reportedly spent time with Kavitha at her Hyderabad residence, setting tongues wagging about what the stars may have revealed.

Telangana, particularly Hyderabad, is all set to witness a massive crackdown on unhygienic restaurants, food adulteration and safety violations. With senior IPS officer Avinash Mohanty taking charge as Commissioner of the Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (TG SAFE), an aggressive crackdown — perhaps even more than what Tukaram Mundhe is doing in neighbouring Maharashtra — is expected.
Those close to Mohanty say the 2005-batch IPS officer has already prepared a detailed roadmap for how he and his team will go about their jobs. Restaurants serving unhygienic food, now have all the reasons to worry, as Avinash is expected to be unsparing on wrongdoers.
A wedding smile for Anjaneyulu
After some of the toughest months of his professional life, senior IPS officer P.S.R. Anjaneyulu finally has something to smile about — his son Pinaki’s wedding. Anjaneyulu, who was arrested in connection with the alleged wrongful detention and harassment of Mumbai-based actress Kadambari Jethwani during his tenure as Intelligence Chief, has faced a turbulent period. He was suspended by the Chandrababu Naidu government and arrested in April 2025. After repeated legal efforts, he eventually secured bail and later underwent bypass surgery following health complications. With investigations into multiple allegations continuing, the wedding has offered the former Intelligence Chief a welcome moment of happiness. The celebrations are set to take place at Golkonda Resorts in Hyderabad, with only a select circle of friends, colleagues and politicians reportedly receiving invites.
From Charan to Nagarjuna!
There’s a new switch making waves in Tollywood security circles. Kevin Kunta, the imposing bodyguard who became almost as recognisable as Ram Charan during public appearances and Peddi promotions, is reportedly now protecting Nagarjuna. Kevin, a professional MMA fighter from Gambia based in Italy, had been associated with Charan’s family for around five years. His move has naturally sparked curiosity among fans and plenty of chatter about what prompted the high-profile change. By the way, one hears this bodyguard is very very high maintenance! Apart from being expensive. So Nagarjuna too may not have him for long. He’s known to be very wise with his finances.
CtrlS needed funding?
While everyone is going ga-ga about CtrlS Data centre getting Rs 200 crore funding from Nitin Kamat and Sreedhar Reddy, the latter is a Hyderabadi who has done extremely well in business, the one question that many are asking is, “Why did Sridhar Pinnapureddy, the founder, need funding at all? He was doing extremely well himself and has the resources to expand too.
Funding for promoters who don’t have the bandwidth is a great chance, but if one has the funds, then these investors will sit on your throat seeking accountability. Ask the many hospital owners who have gotten great funding, how they can choke you to ensure the returns are as good.
