SRK Turned to Vaastu During His ‘Lull’ Period
According to Anand Pandit, the superstar did reach out to him seeking guidance
Shah Rukh Khan’s roaring return in 2023 — with back-to-back hits Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki — felt nothing short of a cinematic fairytale. After a four-year hiatus following flops like Fan and Jab Harry Met Sejal, even his most loyal fans feared his magic had faded.
But what changed the tide?
According to producer and real estate developer Anand Pandit, it was Vaastu that turned things around. In a recent interview, Pandit — whom Shah Rukh refers to as his “spiritual guru” — said the superstar had reached out to him during his slump, seeking guidance.
“There’s a special Vaastu Shastra based on energy that I practise,” Pandit shared. “We worked on balancing the energy at his home. It worked — and Shah Rukh, being the humble person he is, acknowledged it publicly.”
Shah Rukh himself, while attending Pandit’s birthday in 2023, had admitted with a laugh: “Every now and then, I call him and say, ‘Sir, meri pichli waali picture chali nahi, kuch kar do (My last film didn’t work, please fix it).’ He’ll ask me to place a mirror or something auspicious. And now, the movies are working!”
Mannat to get vaastu makeover
Interestingly, the Khans have recently moved out of Mannat, their iconic Mumbai home, for renovations. Gauri Khan, who is redesigning the interiors, is also a known believer in Vaastu and Feng Shui.
An interior designer familiar with the project confirmed: “Yes, the house had stagnant energy. It’s being redone entirely with Vaastu in mind. The family has temporarily moved out.”
