SRK Passes The Baton: Aryan Steps Into The Spotlight
A proud father, a nervous debutant

It was a night soaked in emotion, nostalgia, and new beginnings as Shah Rukh Khan introduced his son Aryan Khan at the trailer launch of Netflix’s Ba****ds of Bollywood, marking Aryan’s much-awaited debut as creator and director.
Looking every bit the proud yet protective father, Shah Rukh thanked Mumbai and the country for showering him with love over three decades and urged the audience to extend the same warmth to Aryan.
“I’ve told him box office success and positive reviews aren’t guaranteed, but there’s always a guarantee in hard work. If you like his work, applaud him—but also send goodwill and prayers,” said SRK, who was seen wearing a Patek Philippe watch, which is worth approximately Rs 1 crore.
Aryan, making his first public appearance on stage, admitted to his nerves. “In case I make a mistake, please forgive me since this is my first time,” he said, thanking his mother Gauri for producing the show and his father for “always having his back.”
SRK ON HEALTH & HUMOUR
Despite sporting a sling post shoulder surgery, SRK didn’t shy away from humour, “Yes, I hurt my shoulder and had to undergo surgery. It was a big one, and it will take me a month or two to recover,” he said assuring fans he would “still collect his National Award with one hand.”
A staire with star power
Described as a witty “roast and toast” of Bollywood with a flamboyant ’90s aesthetic, Aryan’s series is peppered with cameos from Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh and more. It stars Lakshya as an outsider in showbiz, with Bobby Deol lending gravitas as a reigning superstar.
“There was no way I wouldn’t be part of Aryan’s project,” said Bobby and added, “I was impressed with his conviction, but the only thing is—he demands too many takes!”
With sharp satire, star power, and the stamp of Khan legacy, Ba****ds of Bollywood promises to be as much about cinema as it is about family.
