Mumbai Crime Branch says accused posed as fans in auto-rickshaws for a month, got a deadly tip that Tiger plays football in Juhu every Sunday
A chilling plot has been exposed in the Tiger Shroff firing case. Mumbai Crime Branch sources have confirmed that the three arrested shooters had conducted a full-scale recce at the residences of Bollywood’s biggest superstars — Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar before zeroing in on Tiger Shroff.
The shooters were under strict instructions from their handlers: find a high-profile celebrity with relatively less stringent security. For over a month, they surveyed Bandra and Juhu, mapping security protocols outside the stars’ homes.They travelled in local auto-rickshaws to avoid suspicion and tricked drivers into showing them celebrity homes, pretending to be enthusiastic fans who just wanted photographs.
The breakthrough for the gang came from an unsuspecting auto driver, who unwittingly tipped them off that Tiger Shroff regularly plays football at a Juhu ground every Sunday.
The suspects first visited the ground on Sunday, October 11, but Tiger did not turn up. They returned armed the next Sunday, October 18, 2026 and opened fire on Shroff’s vehicle.
Police are now probing the bigger conspiracy — was Tiger the final target, or was the initial plan to hit an even bigger superstar?
