Expert advice addresses concerns about sex chat addiction and the limitations of fertility-awareness methods

I am a 25-year-old male and I am a sex chat addict. I am getting married next month and I doubt if I will be able to enjoy sex the way I enjoy sex chat.
It depends on the novelty factor. You can have sex chats with your wife in future, but it would be better to have verbal chats with her. You can consult a psychiatrist. You can also try voluntary use of Internet content control software. The best way out of the problem would be to indulge in vigorous physical activity instead of sitting in front of a computer during free time.
I am 26-year-old woman and I have a one-year-old son. My husband and I plan to have a second child only after 3 years. My husband is not willing to take any precautions to avoid pregnancy, and so he completely avoids sex. My menstrual cycle is regular. Please let me know when it is safe to have sex after menstruation.
The so called “safe period” method is not that safe. It is based on the understanding of the woman’s natural monthly cycle. To be safe from pregnancy, sexual intercourse must be avoided during the time of ovulation (when an egg is released from the ovary). Generally, ovulation occurs around the 14th day of a normal and regular menstrual cycle and the biggest likelihood of getting pregnant is centered around this time. Since the exact date of ovulation cannot be prejudged accurately, it would be best to avoid intercourse one week prior to and after the 14th day. The main problem with this method is the difficulty of categorically establishing the time and date of ovulation. Many women may not have a perfect 28-day cycle, and this affects the calculations.
