Sanjay Dutt’s Son Being Groomed For Films

However, the actor is not keen on his daughter joining films

Sanjay Dutt, whose career is on the upswing after Dhurandhar, with several antagonist roles being offered and accepted, is also looking beyond his own prospects to those of his 16-year-old twins. His son Shahraan and daughter Iqra are already turning heads.
“They are lovely kids, their mother Maanyata has brought them up with the right values. I haven’t seen better behaved children in this industry,” says Sanjay’s close friend, filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia.
But there’s more. According to sources close to Sanjay, he plans to launch Shahraan as an actor in the next few years. But first, the lad will need to get a feel of other arms of the industry. Shahraan is to assist Sanjay’s friend, filmmaker Raj Kumar Hirani, behind the camera for at least a year.
As for Iqra, it is being said that she resembles her legendary grandmother, the late Nargis Dutt. She has already been getting feelers from big production houses, says a source. However, unlike in the case of Shahraan, Sanjay is reportedly not keen on Iqra following the extended family’s footsteps into the field of cinema. (Her mother, Maanyata, was an actress too, for a brief period.)
