With Deepika Padukone opting out of the Kalki sequel, the buzz is that director Nag Ashwin is looking at doing another project while a new leading lady is locked for Kalki 2.
The proposed project will reportedly be a female-led story, for which Ashwin is aiming to rope in Sai Pallavi.
A source in the know says, “Sai Pallavi and Nag Ashwin have been in talks for a while. Nag is either thinking of starting an entirely new project or replacing Deepika with Sai Pallavi in Kalki 2.”
