Rumana Becomes Regional Mentor
Serendipity founder joins national league of changemakers under NITI Aayog’s mission
Dr Rumana Sinha Sehgal—Founder & CEO of Serendipity—has been appointed as the Regional Mentor of Change (RMoC) for Telangana under the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, Government of India.
These changemakers will help shape the future of over 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) nationwide—spaces where young minds experiment with ideas and build tech for tomorrow.
This isn’t Dr. Sehgal’s first tryst with AIM. Her latest appointment marks Year 4 of her association with the programme, reaffirming her long-standing commitment to inclusive innovation and social impact.
Stepping into her new role, Dr. Sehgal called on the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, for a meaningful exchange centred on three principles she believes define transformative leadership: “Empathy that listens, access that empowers, and action that transforms.”
