Richa Chadha Turns Storyteller With ‘Musafiri’
The India travelogue aims to tell untold stories of people and places, starting with Mumbai

Richa Chadha is gearing for a new journey—Musafiri. The culture-based non-fiction series will explore and celebrate India’s rich heritage, its people and its untold stories.
The first season of the travelogue will uncover the many layers of Mumbai, a city that Richa calls her “residence of choice.”
The actor says, “Mumbai has been my karmabhoomi and I feel exceptional love for it because it is still relatively safe for women. Over the years, I’ve discovered that every street, neighbourhood, market, heritage structure and every community in this city has a story waiting to be told. Musafiri is my love letter to this incredible city. This series is about slowing down and observing and I promise you that with each episode, you will learn something new.”
Elaborating, she says, “Mumbai is where our journey begins, but it certainly doesn’t end here. India is home to stories that deserve to be documented and celebrated.” She hopes the show will inspire people to look at familiar places with fresh eyes and encourage them to travel with curiosity, empathy and a deeper appreciation for India’s heritage.
