Rashmika, Kriti in Cocktail Sequel

Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon will share screen space in the sequel to Deepika Padukone’s 2021 hit Cocktail.

Filmmaker Homi Adajania confirmed Kriti’s casting on Instagram, sharing her picture with the caption “Work in Progress” and the teaser that the story would move from London to Sicily, Italy.

Kriti responded, saying, “a liberating journey, I can feel it.” Rashmika, who shared a similar “Work in Progress” post, plays the second lead. The film, a love triangle, also stars Shahid Kapoor as the romantic interest of both leading ladies.
