Ranveer Stays on as ‘Don 3’ Moves Ahead
The only key casting change is Rajat Bedi stepping in as the antagonist, replacing Vikrant Massey
Contrary to doomsday reports, the third instalment of Farhan Akhtar’s Don franchise is very much on track, with Ranveer Singh continuing in the titular role. Rumours suggesting that actors such as Hrithik Roshan might replace Ranveer were merely publicity-driven speculation, allegedly planted by interested parties.
The only major casting change concerns the antagonist. Rajat Bedi has stepped in to replace Vikrant Massey as the archvillain in Don 3. Bedi recently gained renewed attention after portraying a fallen star in the controversial series The Bads of Bollywood.
A source close to the project clarified, “Nothing has changed except Massey. Don 3 has been pushed forward. It is still very much on.”
With Ranveer firmly in place and the project moving ahead despite delays, Don 3 remains an active and evolving addition to Farhan Akhtar’s action franchise.
