Ranveer Singh is stepping into never-tried-before territory — a zombie film!
The actor, who, following his superhit Dhurandhar, will start working on Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 come January, has now signed on for Pralay, directed by Jay Mehta, son of Hansal Mehta.
While the zombie genre is very popular in Korea, the only noteworthy Hindi film of this type is Raj-DK’s Go Goa Gone, and that was 12 years ago.
Says a source in the know, “Ranveer and Jay want to kick up a storm within an unexplored genre. Pralay will be shot right after Ranveer finishes with Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. It will have special effects on a par with the Korean zombie films. Ranveer wants to sustain the momentum in his career after Dhurandhar with Don 3 and Pralay.”
