Ramayana’s Ramtek Dhamaka Put on Hold
Ranbir Kapoor-Sai Pallavi’s grand Navratri song launch at Shri Ram Temple called off due to heatwave and to prioritise farmers’ relief
The grand promotional and song launch event for Ramayana Part 1, scheduled at the historic Shri Ram Temple in Ramtek, during Navratri, has been postponed indefinitely.
The organisers and film crew chose to prioritise farmers’ welfare and relief efforts over promotions, extending support to affected communities. Unseasonably high temperatures in the Nagpur region, touching 37°C, also raised safety concerns, leading to the postponement.
The highly anticipated interactive event was to feature lead actors Ranbir Kapoor (Lord Ram) and Sai Pallavi (Sita), along with lyricist Dr Kumar Vishwas and actor Ravie Dubey. Both the local administration and the production team have assured fans that the crew will visit Ramtek and reschedule the event once circumstances permit.
Ramtek, near Nagpur, is revered as the sacred land where Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana rested during their exile!
