Superstar Rajinikanth, who has just completed filming Vettaiyan, is currently enjoying a break in the United Arab Emirates, spending time with friends and engaging in informal meetings. A video of the actor riding in a Rolls Royce alongside Lulu Group Chairman MA Yusuf Ali in Abu Dhabi has gone viral on social media, sparking speculation about the nature of their interaction.
Reports say Rajinikanth visited the global headquarters of Lulu Group International, where Yusuf Ali received him. The businessman later hosted a lunch for the Superstar at his residence and they apparently spent several hours together.
Earlier in the week, Rajinikanth also met with Lulu Group COO Saifee Rupawala, who shared photos of the meeting on social media and wrote, “Absolutely thrilled to have had the incredible opportunity to connect with the one and only Indian Superstar, Thalaivar.”
Neither Rajinikanth’s team nor the retail giant has clarified whether these meetings were formal or informal. Rajinikanth and Yusuf Ali had met earlier this year too, at the actor’s Poes Garden residence in Chennai.
