Raashii Gets Special Gift From Rajini
The book on spirituality has given her valuable insights into life, says the actress
Raashii Khanna, last seen in the Tamil film Aghathiyaa, is sharing screen space with superstar Rajinikanth in Dharman, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu of Dragon fame.
The actress recently revealed that the veteran star surprised her with a meaningful present during the film’s shoot—a copy of Living with the Himalayan Masters by Swami Rama. The book profoundly deepened her self-understanding and offered vital life lessons, she shared.
In a video posted on her Instagram, Raashii said, “This book found me in a very special way. I was on the sets of Dharman shooting with Rajinicsir, and during one of our conversations, we ended up talking about spirituality. He asked me if I read this book. I hadn’t. Two days later, he brought a copy and gifted it to me.”
She added, “I’ve been reading it diligently over the last couple of weeks because Rajini sir also mentioned that he would test me on it. Anyway, I love it already, and every now and then, I come across a page that makes me stop. What I took away from this is why so many of us feel disconnected. Not because we have lost ourselves overnight but because we have spent years becoming someone else. And maybe that’s why silence can feel so loud. Because without distractions, you are finally left with yourself.”
