After months of persistent shoulder pain, AP Dy CM and actor has undergone successful right rotator cuff surgery in Mumbai
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan has successfully undergone right rotator cuff surgery at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital to treat a long-standing shoulder injury. The procedure repaired a severe rotator cuff tear and muscle damage, with doctors advising several weeks of rest followed by physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Kalyan had reportedly been battling persistent right shoulder pain for months. MRI scans and specialist consultations confirmed the extent of the injury, making surgery unavoidable.
Reports also suggest he sustained injuries to both shoulders over the years while performing action sequences, although the latest procedure was confined to his right shoulder.
The actor-politician deferred the surgery until he completed his official commitments before travelling to Mumbai. His office said the procedure was successful and that he is recovering well, as fans, political leaders and members of the film fraternity wished him a speedy recovery.
