Pawan Kalyan visits TN temples
“This journey is purely a spiritual and personal one,” says the AP Deputy CM
Pawan Kalyan, Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, visited the Sri Subrahmanya Swamy temple in Tiruchendur on Thursday as part of his tour of the Shasta Shanmukha Kshetras across South India. He was given a traditional welcome by temple authorities.
“This journey is purely a spiritual and personal one. It has nothing to do with politics,” the actor-politician told media representatives at the site. He was accompanied by his son, Akira Nandan.
“I congratulated actor Vijay when he entered politics. I wish that whoever enters politics, does good things for the people and the country. Politics should be used for the welfare of the people. I wish that the people of Tamil Nadu live in complete harmony and happiness. I pray to Sri Subrahmanya Swamy for the good health and long life of the people of our country,” he added.
Earlier, Pawan offered prayers at the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple.
