Oval Fertility Launches Flagship Reproductive Care Centre

A new fertility centre equipped with advanced embryo monitoring technology has been launched in Hyderabad, adding to the city’s growing reproductive healthcare infrastructure.

Oval Fertility, a technology-led fertility platform, inaugurated its flagship facility on Sunday. The centre introduces Astec Chrono, a Japanese embryo incubation system that allows continuous monitoring of embryo development without disturbing growth conditions, a technology the company says is being introduced in India for the first time. The facility has six embryology workstations, seven treatment suites and five recovery rooms, with the capacity to handle around 800 fertility treatment cycles annually.

The venture has been co-founded by entrepreneur and patient advocate Veena Reddy along with fertility specialist Dr Brian Levine, who has worked extensively in the field of in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) in the United States. The medical team also includes Dr Sandeep Karunakaran and reproductive endocrinologist Dr Keerthana Vemula.

According to industry estimates, demand for fertility services in India has been rising steadily due to delayed parenthood, lifestyle-related factors and increased awareness of reproductive health. The Hyderabad centre will offer a range of services including IVF, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), fertility assessments, oncofertility care and preimplantation genetic testing.

The company said its focus would be on combining advanced reproductive technologies with personalised patient care and improving treatment outcomes for couples seeking fertility assistance.
