In the now-viral clip, Pawan was asked to choose between several leading actresses: Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon, and Kiara Advani. His first pick was Kriti Sanon. But when the choice came down to Kriti versus Kangana Ranaut, he instantly chose Kangana. Pawan went on to praise Kangana’s portrayal of Indira Gandhi in Emergency, calling it a powerful performance and one of the reasons he would like to work with her. He continued to choose Kangana over other leading stars like Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Only one actress ranked higher in his eyes—Sridevi, whom he described as his all-time favorite.
Kangana shared the clip on her Instagram story, adding folded hands and heart emojis.
