Allu Arjun’s swagger hit a speed bump at Mumbai Airport when a routine ID check turned into a mini face-off.
In a viral video on Reddit, the superstar strolls towards the entrance in a white tee and black tracks, only to be stopped by CISF staff. When asked to take off his sunglasses and mask for face verification, the Pushpa actor appears to hesitate, trading words with the officer as a team member steps in.
After a few seconds of back-and-forth, Arjun reluctantly removes his shades, then gives the quickest mask reveal imaginable before covering up again and heading inside.
The clip has caused a divide on the internet, with some fans dismissing it as a minor issue, and others criticizing the actor for defying what they perceive as a fundamental, uncompromising security protocol.
“Just show your full face, man. Why be so egoistic? Sadly these people think of themselves as gods because of stupid fans and don’t care to follow protocols,” wrote one netizen, while another one commented, “The CISF guy was 100% within his right to ask the actor to show his face.”
