‘No, Vijay Didn’t Demand 5–6 Caravans and 50 Assistants’

The makers of Ranabaali have rubbished viral claims about Vijay Deverakonda’s alleged demands, calling the reports fabricated

Vijay Deverakonda’s team has strongly denied viral claims alleging that the actor made extravagant demands on the sets of his upcoming film Ranabaali, calling the reports fabricated and part of a targeted misinformation campaign.

The controversy erupted after a fake screenshot, designed to resemble a report from a Telugu news portal, circulated widely on social media. The post claimed Deverakonda had demanded five to six luxury caravans, 40 to 50 assistants, exclusive vanity facilities and other high-end arrangements, allegedly prompting producers Mythri Movie Makers to approach the Telugu Film Producers Council over his “unreasonable demands.” Producer Y. Ravi Shankar denied the allegations as baseless, clarifying that no such issues arose during the making of the film.

Ravi Shankar described Vijay as disciplined and dedicated, dismissing the viral claims as false propaganda.
