When whispers began about Samantha reuniting with Ram Charan in director Buchi Babu Sana’s Peddi, fans imagined another chart-topping dance number. But insiders have set the record straight: there’s no such plan, no item song, and no conversation even leaning that way. “We laughed it off,” says a source close to the production, brushing off the gossip as “false and baseless.”
Music legend A.R. Rahman, too, has no mystery track tucked away for Samantha. “Rahman has given us two songs so far,” the source explains. “Right now, we’re shooting a montage song with Ram Charan. Other songs haven’t even gone into picturisation.”
