Madhuri Dixit Becomes First Woman Host of ‘KBC’ Franchise

Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit.
Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit has been named as the new host of Kon Honar Crorepati, the Marathi adaptation of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). She will be the first woman to take the reins in a KBC franchise. The official announcement promo was held to coincide with the premiere of Amitabh Bachchan’s KBC Season 18 on Sony LIV.
The assignment marks the veteran actress’ debut as a host on Marathi television and her grand return to television hosting after a 24-year hiatus. Madhuri had hosted Kahin Na Kahin Koi Hai back in 2002.
