Kriti’s Chartbuster ‘Ranjhanaa’ Hits Sour Note
KMKZ levels plagiarism charge against T-Series and the two composers responsible for the track

Music producer KMKZ took to Instagram, alleging that the beats used in the song were originally his creation. He accused composers Sachet-Parampara of lifting his work.
In a detailed video, producer KMKZ alleged: “I produced the number one song in India, and I didn’t even know it.” He said he had uploaded the beat two years ago, only to find recently that the piano in Ranjhanaa matched his work — yet the credits listed T-Series instead of him.
With the track now surpassing 290 million Spotify streams, he claimed his repeated attempts to contact T-Series, its team, and the artistes went unanswered.
The label and composer duo have faced plagiarism claims before, with musician Nilanjana Ghosh Dastidar accusing them of lifting her husband’s track for Maiyya in Do Patti. Appealing for support, KMKZ told fans, “300 million streams and a Billboard No. 1 is crazy. I DEMAND A PLAQUE.” T-Series and Sachet-Parampara have not responded.
