Kartik Aaryan Gets President Murmu’s Tea Invite!
The actor is reportedly the only Bollywood representative at the prestigious ‘At Home Reception’
Kartik Aaryan is having quite a moment! The Bollywood star has earned an invite to President Droupadi Murmu’s prestigious ‘At Home Reception’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan on August 15, marking India’s 80th Independence Day.
He is reportedly the only film industry personality from Bollywood invited to the prestigious gathering, which brings together top political leaders, armed forces personnel, sportspersons and eminent personalities.
The exclusive invitation comes soon after Aaryan’s big win at the 72nd National Film Awards, where he bagged the Best Actor honour for his performance as Paralympic gold medallist Murlikant Petkar in Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion.
For Aaryan, the honour is clearly a dream come true. “Such an honour didn’t even occur in my dreams. I just wanted to be an actor,” he said.
