‘Insha Allah’ Goes Back To Shah Rukh

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Insha Allah seems to have finally got on the right track. Shooting for the romance about the fragile bond between a young girl and an older man started with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt seven years ago, but was called off due to irreconcilable differences between Salman and SLB.

However, Insha Allah is now ready to be revived, with a different Khan in the lead. Shah Rukh will step into the lover boy’s shoes while Alia will still play the young woman who falls for the older man.

Interestingly, SRK was the first choice for it.
