Madhu Mantena says in 2026 ‘fresh faces are the answer’
Looks like 2026 is going to be the year of newcomers — producer Madhu Mantena stating the obvious need for new talent. “Look at the blockbusters of 2025 Saiyaara, Dhurandhar , Chhaava, Sitaare Zameen Par: they are not star-driven. They are plot-driven and feature actors, not stars.”
Mantena’s production house is delving deep into the search for fresh talent.We can expect a bunch of names to be announced shortly.
Commenting on the hunt for fresh talent producer Madhu Mantena says, “As part of Ram Gopal Varma’s production house and later when I co-partnered as a producer at Phantom, the endeavour was to constantly search and find new talent. Let me tell you, this will be just the beginning of one more phase for me of introducing new talent into the film industry.”
