From Hyderabad To Emily in Paris
Hyderabad-based jewellery designer, Ridhi Asrani is making waves internationally as her collection has been showcased in both shows — And Just Like That, season 2 and 3 and in Emily in Paris, season 5

It all began organically for jewellery designer Ridhi Asrani. This Hyderabad based girl launched her collection in the pandemic era. “I have always been creatively inclined. I would say jewellery designing found me, instead of the other way around. But the brand truly began taking shape post 2022,” she reveals.
Her designs are maximal at heart as Ridhi aspired to make “statement making, conversation starters.” A graduate from the Gemological Institute of America, her design aesthetics blend the traditional with the contemporary.
And perhaps this is what appealed to the stylists at Just like That, the sequel to Sex and the City. It was first spotted on actress Sarita Choudhury, who played the sassy Seema Patel in the series. “I had binge-watched this show like everyone else and when I realised, they introduced an Indian character, I reached out to Danny Santiago, the costume designer. He loved my collection and that is how both Seema and Sarah Jessica Parker ended up wearing my earrings”
While the universe may conspire to align things in your favour, Riddhi left nothing to destiny alone. “It always feels rewarding when the work resonates on a global platform,” she says.
Once she made that big splash, her second brush with international exposure came easily. “The stylist for Emily in Paris season 5, Marylin Fitoussi reached out to me. She loved my collection and also mentioned that Lily Collins who plays Emily loved my hoops and that is how I got to be a part of this show.”
Once her fame hit Indian shores, Ridhi was inundated with requests. Soon her collection was worn by stars and celebs alike. “There are quite a few ladies who wear my pieces like Sania Mirza, Samantha Prabhu, Shruti Hassan, Radhika Madan, Taapsee Pannu and even Lilly Singh.”
Like we said, all you need is that one big opportunity and the rest falls into place.
