‘Don 3’ Drama Explodes!
Producers Guild slams last-minute exit chaos, backs Excel

Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna.
The Producers Guild of India condemned last-minute pullouts by talent and technicians on Don 3, citing financial and reputational harm. It urged all parties to settle disputes amicably!
Actually, the complaints center on two high-profile exits: Ranveer Singh walking away from Don 3 and Akshaye Khanna stepping out of Drishyam 3.
The Producers Guild broke its silence now. Shibasish Sarkar’s team slammed the artistes’ behaviour as a blow to trust, respect and professionalism across the industry.
They wrote, “There have been growing instances of talent, directors and technicians, reneging on their commitments to producers, often at the eleventh hour. We have also received formal complaints from our members, Excel Entertainment Private Limited and Panorama Studios regarding these issues coming up just days before the commencement of principal photography.”
Reports suggest the actor’s exit from the film prompted multiple rounds of industry-level talks. “No member of the industry should indulge in such behaviour that has, in these cases, led to substantial financial loss to our member producers as well as to other verticals in the industry.”
The statement also warned that such conduct has serious consequences, it has hurt film credibility and brand value and threatened the livelihoods of hundreds of crew members! The Guild reaffirmed support for a free, fair, disruption-free production process, calling opposing stances unethical.
Ranveer has reportedly responded to the directive through legal means.
