An event in Mumbai on Sunday to introduce the cast and crew of director Suresh Triveni’s Maa Bahen turned awkward for the film’s third lead, popular influencer Dharna Durga, who plays Madhuri Dixit’s younger daughter.
Madhuri and Triptii faced flak during the event when the paparazzi sidelined their co-star Dharna Durga. When she was asked to move out of the picture, neither of her popular co-stars stood up for Durga. Fans of Dharna expressed disappointment over what they perceived as unequal treatment of a performer who is yet to establish herself in the film industry.
