Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal Team Up for Their First-Ever Film

Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Bobby Kolli, who previously collaborated on Waltair Veerayya, are all set to reunite for their second project together.

According to multiple sources, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will be joining Chiranjeevi in what will mark their first-ever on-screen collaboration. Despite being two of Indian cinema’s most respected icons, the actors have never shared screen space. They have, however, long expressed mutual admiration and are known to catch up as friends whenever they visit each other’s cities. Surprisingly, no filmmaker has attempted to bring the two icons together — until now.

Shedding more light on this historic collaboration, a source reveals, “Chiranjeevi plays the central lead, while Mohanlal makes a powerful entry midway through the film.” The project is already being seen as one of the most exciting pan-Indian collaborations in recent times.
