Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna suffered a minor knee injury on July 21 while shooting an intense action sequence for NBK 111.
The 66-year-old actor reportedly slipped and twisted his leg during a high-voltage fight scene with actor Manchu Manoj at Kakinada Port.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital, where doctors conducted scans, administered first aid and advised him to rest for a few days before resuming work.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, NBK 111 is one of the most-awaited Telugu action entertainers and marks the director’s second collaboration with Balakrishna after the blockbuster Veera Simha Reddy.
