Irrfan Khan’s son puts emotional struggles behind him

After a public emotional meltdown, Babil Khan, Irrfan’s elder son, is back in front of the camera. Some months ago, the young Khan had opted out of the limelight and an underproduction film after an outburst on social media, which went viral.
He has now resumed shooting. Says director Shoojit Sircar, who is very close to Irrfan’s family, “By God’s grace Babil is fine now. He has started working again. We are all very happy and relieved. Babil has his father’s looks and talent.” Shoojit is in fact planning to cast Babil in a film he had originally planned with Irrfan.
