Producer Soundarya Rajinikanth has said her family fully backs superstar Rajinikanth and his decision to stay away from politics. “There are absolutely no regrets as far as my dad’s journey is concerned. As a family, we fully support him in whatever decision he makes,” she said, while declining to comment on the current political situation in Tamil Nadu.
In Hyderabad to promote her upcoming film With Love, Soundarya also revealed that talks are underway for a film bringing together Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. “Kamal uncle and daddy are planning to do a film together. The production house will announce details soon. I won’t be part of that project,” she clarified.
Speaking about With Love, she described Rana Daggubati as a childhood friend. “The moment I told him about the film, he agreed to release it. I’m very happy he’s backing this project,” she said.
