A close friend confirms the rumour, but says ‘marriage isn’t on the cards yet’
Rumours that Dhanush and Mrunal Thakur are in a relationship have been doing the rounds for a while, and now a close friend of the Son of Sardar actress confirms the news.
“But (they have) no plans of marriage yet, I don’t think they’ve reached that stage. It is still all new to Mrunal,” the friend says.
Elaborating on the relationship, the friend says, “We’ve known about it for quite a while. Mrunal is very happy to have found love. As far as we know, this is her first full-fledged relationship. We just hope the girl won’t end up being hurt.”
It all started on August 1, when Dhanush attended Mrunal’s birthday bash and after a video of Dhanush holding Mrunal’s hand and the duo engaged in a conversation where Mrunal can be seen leaning to whisper something to Dhanush went viral.
Dhanush also flew to Mumbai to attend the special screening of Son of Sardaar 2, which stars Mrunal alongside Ajay Devgn. At another occasion, Mrunal was spotted at a party hosted by producer-writer Kanika Dhillon, to celebrate Dhanush’s upcoming movie Tere Ishq Mein. In the pictures shared, Dhanush and Mrunal were seen posing together with a warm smile.
Neither of them have responded to the rumors.
Mrunal now follows Dhanush’s two elder sisters, Dr. Karthika Karthik and Vimala Geetha, on Instagram and vice versa.
