Peddi is poised to be a blockbuster — Ram Charan’s biggest since RRR, which was a win not only for him but also for NTR Jr and S.S. Rajamouli. Peddi, however, is a solo win for Ram Charan! Fans are going berserk and not without reason. One of them is Ram Charan’s wife, Upasana Konidela. In a video from Wednesday night’s premiere, she is seen whistling and throwing paper cuts during his entry scene. She didn’t hold back, shouting along with fans inside the theatre. In an exclusive interaction with this writer, Ram Charan’s uncle Allu Aravind said the actor deserves a National Award for his performance.

“It’s an award-winning performance by Charan. I wish he gets the National Award for Best Actor for this film. A great sports drama with rooted sentiments. I went straight from the theatre to see Charan at his residence. I couldn't resist,” he said.
