Akshay Kumar, who had been postponing vision-correction surgery because of his packed schedule, has now taken time off to undergo the procedure.
The actor recently wrapped the Kerala schedule of filmmaker Anees Bazmee’s next project, which also stars Vidya Balan and Raashii Khanna, before taking the much-needed break.
Reportedly held on Wednesday, the surgery is being described as a minor procedure and is expected to keep Akshay confined to his home for about two weeks. The actor is looking forward to spending this time with his family.
This is said to be Akshay’s first surgery.
