After Haiwaan, it’s Golmaal 5

Akshay Kumar is a restless actor. Having had his fill of positive roles, he signed on to play a cold-blooded killer in Priyadarshan’s Haiwaan, and the experience of exploring his dark side for the first time seems to have made him want more of the same. Next, he will play the arch villain in Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 5.
“Rohit wanted a strong villain in the fifth part of Golmaal. So far, the bad guys in the series have been inconspicuous. That’s about to change. When Rohit offered Akshay the role of a very unusual villain (Mogambo meets Gabbar), Akshay grabbed it with both hands,” says an informed source.
Akshay seems to be following the lead set by Shah Rukh Khan in Baazigar and Darr.
