We Don't Blame You: England County Cricket Takes A Dig At Kohli Amid Retirement Talk
Reports suggested that Kohli communicated to the BCCI his intention to retire from the traditional format

England's County cricket handle on X took a cheeky dig at team India's talisman batter Virat Kohli amidst reports claiming he intends to retire from Test cricket.
Ahead of next month's India's tour of England, reports suggested that Kohli communicated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) his intention to retire from the traditional format. Interestingly, his decision comes just a few days after Rohit Sharma's sudden Test exit announcement.
The official handle of England's premier domestic first class competition 'Rothesay County Championship' in a cheeky dig at Kohli posted a video of English bowlers dismantling stumps and put out a caption, "We don't blame you Virat."
The modern-day great doesn't have a good record on English soil, scoring 1096 runs off 17 matches (33 innings) at an average of 33.21 with just 2 hundreds and five half-centuries.
However, Kohli has not made any announcement yet and the BCCI officials are trying to persuade the 36-year-old to withdraw his decision.
