India on Thursday night swiftly thwarted Pakistan's attempts to strike its military bases with drones and missiles including in Jammu and Pathankot after foiling similar bids at 15 places in northern and western regions of the country, as tension soared between the two neighbours amid fears of a larger conflict.
Anushka in her post wrote, "Eternally grateful to our Indian Armed Forces for protecting us through these times like the heroes that they are. Heartfelt gratitude to the sacrifices they and their families have made. Jai Hind."
Meanwhile, the BCCI on Friday suspended the 2025 IPL over the escalating tensions between the neighboring countries. Kohli's RCB was only next to Gujarat Titans in the points table with 16 points, followed by Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians.
