Heather Watson and her fellow tennis-playing boyfriend, Lloyd Glasspool, are used to competing on the court, but the pair swapped the baseline for an imaginary wrestling ring during a good-natured battle at home.
Watson shared a video of the pair grappling on the floor, with a topless Glasspool, ranked No 335 in the world in singles, dragging his girlfriend to the ground before getting the better of Watson with a move described in the video as a ‘python squeeze’. Watson, ranked 76 in the world, is giggling throughout, before eventually admitting defeat and declaring ‘he wore me down!’ The two have regularly shared images of their time together on social media, including while wearing army gear at Halloween and dressed up ahead of evenings out. Watson also recently borrowed Glasspool’s phone to film a video message from a practice session the two shared, where she joked that her boyfriend needs to put in more time on the court. “He needs to practice more, because he’s not as good as me,” Watson joked, before catching a ball hit at her by Glasspool.
