Sania Mirza eve-teased by Bangladesh cricketer Sabbir Rahman, claims Shoaib Malik

Dhaka: Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has been reportedly subject to eve-teasing by Bangladesh cricketer Sabbir Rahman, according to her cricketer-husband Shoaib Malik.

As per reports in Bangladeshi media, Shoaib Malik, in his official complaint to the Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) chairman, Sabbir had teased Sania four years back when the Pakistan cricketer was in Bangladesh four years back along with his wife to play in a domestic cricket tournament.

Rahman has been very often known for his controversial actions.

In 2017, he was accused of assaulting a fan during his team Rajshahi Division's National Cricket League clash against Dhaka Metropolis in a first-class game.

As a result, the 26-year-old was left out of Bangladesh’s Asia Cup squad.

The Asia Cup kicks off on September 15.
