India's participation in next month's Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup and September's Men's Asia Cup, where team India are the favorites, is now doubtful.

Amidst tensions between India and Pakistan, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly informed the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) its intention to withdraw from all its tournaments.
India's participation in next month's Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Sri Lanka and September's Men's Asia Cup, where team India are the favorites, is doubtful.
According to media reports, the BCCI has taken the decision in line with the sentiment of all Indians and to isolate Pakistan Cricket and have verbally communicated their decision with the ACC.
Mohsin Naqvi, currently heads the Asian Cricket Council, while also serving as the president of Pakistan Cricket Board.
With the reported move, the location of the Men's Asia Cup is also up for the toss as India was to host this year's tournament after winning the title in 2023.
