Mumbai Indians star player and Team India skipper (ODI) Rohit Sharma had shocked everyone after videos of him giving away his Lamborghini Urus went viral on social media.
The iconic Urus, valued around Rs 4 crore is as popular as Rohit among India's cricket fans. The famous SUV, painted in Blue has a number plate that gives a sense of pride to all Hitman fans -- '264', the highest ever score by an Individual in World Cricket, no gifts for guessing, Rohit achieved the feat in November 2014.
Rohit was seen on numerous occasions, joyfully driving the luxury car in Mumbai.
Recently, in an advertisement for Dream 11, the 38-year-old was seen making a bold promise to give-away his car. While many fans didn't believe what he said and merely took it as an ad campaign to grab attention.
Rohit was indeed truthful to his word and gave away his car and went back home in an auto rickshaw.
However, some fans are still speculting that Rohit would get his car back.
Meanwhile, Rohit on May 7 announced a sudden retirement from Tests just ahead of England's tour. His IPL side Mumbai Indians is currently fighting to secure a spot in the top four, where his contribution will be key.
