Privacy or Poor Attitude: Fans split after video of Travis Head denying fans selfies goes viral

Recently, Head was seen shopping at a superstore in Hyderabad, where a group of fans approached the cricketer for selfies

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) star and Australia cricketer Travis Head has unknowingly reignited a discussion on privacy of celebrities in the country, after politely refusing a selfie with some fans.

Recently, Head was seen shopping at a superstore in Hyderabad, where a group of fans approached the cricketer for selfies.
The aggressive left-hand batter, denied their request with a smile on his face. Some fans from the group, disappointed, started to record the cricketer, asking for selfies persistently.
Head with a smile on his face, subtly kept denying and walked away. Venting their frustration, the fans described the Australian as a person with 'attitude.'
"So one of my friend is die heart (die-hard) supporter of Travis Head so I decided to convince him to take one photo with my friend but constantly he is showing attitude to all the SRH team supporters," an Instagram user going by the handle - 'Zayn_vloggs' said in a video, that is now viral.
"We always support you, you should at least give us some response sir!" The fan was heard questioning Head in the video.
"I did sir, I responded," Head replied politely.
However, Netizens were left in splits after the incident. Commenting on the post, a user wrote, "Maybe he isn't socially available. Respect his boundaries bro."
While another said, "Ppl (people) here are commenting abt (about) privacy, yes he's a great bsy (busy) player but the craze for him in the hearts of Hyderabadis is on another level since he plays for SRH, Being in a public place he should show some minimum respect to supporters. I'm not saying he has to sit down and meet everyone but when ppl are going upto him and requesting multiple times he could've spared a few minutes just to make them happy! I've seen one of the greatest cricketer, the captain of Australian Team Pat (Cummins), who always behaves politely and respects his fans in public places, so in my view it's really not a big deal for Head to give a few minutes!"
Meanwhile, SRH is reeling under pressure after four defeats in a row. Travis Head, being the second highest scorer (after Klaasen) for the franchise, amassed 148 runs in five innings, with a best score of 67 in this season so far.
