Pathetic Tweet: Ambati Rayudu Trolled For Post On Ind-Pak Tensions

In a series of posts on X, Rayudu shared his thoughts on the conflict drawing backlash and social media trolls

Former team India cricketer Ambati Rayudu recieved backlash after he called for peace amid the rising military tensions between India and Pakistan.

India on Thursday night saw a wave of Pakistani drone and artillery attacks. However, the Indian Army successfully neutralised the attacks.
In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), Rayudu shared his thoughts on the conflict drawing backlash and social media trolls.
Quoting Mahatma Gandhi, the former cricketer wrote in a post, “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. Let’s remember — this isn’t a call for weakness, but a reminder of wisdom. Justice must stand firm, but never lose sight of humanity. We can love our nation fiercely and still hold compassion in our hearts. Patriotism and peace can walk hand in hand. "

In another post, expressing gratitude to the armed forces, the 39-year-old wrote, "In moments like these, we stand united not in fear, but in resolve. I feel immense gratitude to our Indian Army who are the real heroes who carry the weight of a nation with unmatched courage, discipline, and selflessness🙏🏻 Your sacrifices don't go unnoticed. Your bravery is what keeps the tricolour flying high and our borders safe. May your strength always lead us to safety, and may your service continue to pave the way for a more peaceful tomorrow. Jai Hind 🇮🇳."

However, a section of people criticized Rayudu and asked him to delete the posts.
"Where was your peace when you hit that senior citizen?" a user commented on his post, reminding of an old incident. "Bro is traumatised for downfall of CSK and Dhoni," another wrote. "Pathetic tweet, Ambati," a third one said.
While a section of people also supported Rayudu and wrote, "First time in my life, I agree with Ambati Rayudu statement."
