Hyderabad is set to host the second edition of the Legacy Fighting Championship (LFC-2), a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event, on August 22 at the Katedan Sports Complex. The event will feature domestic and international fighters. The LFC-2 championship will feature a total of 24 fighters, including 12 international competitors, three fighters from Telangana and several prominent athletes from other Indian states.
The organisers said the event is expected to offer thrilling bouts and promote the growth of MMA in Telangana and across the country. Ahead of the championship, National Mixed Martial Arts Association joint secretary Sheikh Khalid met Sports Authority of Telangana Government chairman K. Shivasena Reddy at the Lal Bahadur Stadium and invited him to attend the event as the Chief Guest.
