Ishan Kishan Ruled Out of Second T20I Against New Zealand With Adductor Strain
The BCCI said Kishan sustained the injury during the first T20I between the Men in Blue and the Kiwis

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday announced that batter Ishan Kishan has been ruled out of the second T20I between India and New Zealand due to a low-grade right adductor strain.
The BCCI said Kishan sustained the injury during the first T20I between the Men in Blue and the Kiwis. It added that the team’s medical staff is monitoring his progress.
In the first T20I, the in-form Kishan failed to make an impact, scoring just one run before being dismissed.
India defeated New Zealand by four wickets, with two balls to spare, in the first T20I in Christchurch. Batting first, New Zealand posted 225/4 in their 20 overs, with Glenn Phillips anchoring the innings with a knock of 82 off 40 balls.
India chased down the target with two balls remaining, thanks to an explosive opening partnership between Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma, along with contributions from captain Shreyas Iyer and Naman Dhir in the closing stages.
