In a good news for not just Mumbai Indians fans but all the Indian Cricket fans, star pacer Jasprit Bumrah has officially returned to action after a hiatus.
Confirming the news, Mumbai Indians took to social media and with a special post, captioning it, "Ready to Roar."
"Angad let me tell you a story, in 2013 there was a cub who entered a jungle, a jungle full of runs, sixers and boundaries. Where everyone was scared he showed courage. Over the years, he fought many battles, he fought for survival, he fought for his pride. He won, he lost but never gave up. These battles left him with scars. But these scars didn't stop him, once the cub now a lion, the lion is back, he's back to be the king of the jungle," Bumrah's wife Sanjana Ganesan was heard narrating a story to son Angad in the creative video, welcoming the pace spearhead.
Bumrah was last seen in action early this year, during the last match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. He was forced to leave the ground midway owing to back pain. Bumrah, having missed the important Champions Trophy due to his rehab at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence, is now fully fit.
Bumrah's addition to a struggling MI gives a new lease of life. They would be taking on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Wankhede on Monday evening.
