Airtel Hyderabad Marathon: Around 40 runners from Satara

Satara (Maharashtra) has a hilly terrain and participants enjoy the undulations of the entire route.
Around 50 NGOs will participate in this edition to raise funds for the social issues while 90 corporates will vie for the stylish golden trophy in the Marathon.
Hyderabad: The Airtel Hyderabad Marathon which commenced with 5k run on Saturday has attracted a huge contingent of Satara hill runners with more than 40 participants taking part from there on Sunday.
Satara (Maharashtra) has a hilly terrain and participants enjoy the undulations of the entire route. Though Satara being a small town, it has a huge number of running community, due to the Satara Hill Half Marathon, which is a two time Guinness record holder for number of Participants.Girish Laddha, an active member of the Satara contingent is also participating.
